Liquid container

Grinder or french press

Coffee (whole bean or freshly ground)




Water (cold or at room temperature )

Step 1 to make cold brew coffee


First of all, you need to buy roasted coffee. You can take whole coffee beans and then grind them in a grinder, or it is better to use a french press for this purpose. But remember to keep coffee beans coarse since it is necessary for making delicious coffee; otherwise, it would taste different.

Step 2 is to make cold brew coffee.

Take 2 cups of ground coffee and 8 cups of filtered water. You can use normal tap water if it is free from impurities. Just remember to keep a 4:1 ratio. If water is 4 cups, then coffee would be 1 cup.

Put grounded coffee in the container and pour cold or water kept at room temperature in the container. Do not use hot water for this purpose. You will instantly notice a color change. Mix it well with the help of a spoon so that all coffee beans come in contact with the water.

The next step is to cover the container with the lid and keep it in the refrigerator for 12 hours or upto 24 hours to make it tastier.

Pour the coffee on the filter and if some solid particles are remaining in the filtered coffee again, pass it through this process. Discard the solids collected on the filter or the cheesecloth, and your liquid is ready. You can keep this liquid in the refrigerator for upto 7 days. 

Step 6 to make cold brew coffee


Now take 1 cup, fill it with ice, and pour liquid coffee. You can also add some cream or flavored syrup to enhance its taste.
