How to cook beets. Beet is a plant. Beetroot and leaves are used as vegetables, and beet is used in medicines.

Beets have great taste, so you can easily add them to your diet. You can add beats to the salad. It will give an excellent taste and colour to your salad. You can dip it in yoghurt, and it gives a healthy bite. Beetroot leaves can cook like spinach, so use them.

How to cook beets? 

You can cook beets in several different ways. So let’s cook it.

  • Boiling beets

It is a less time-consuming press than roasting. First of all, purchase good quality beets from your nearest shop. Cut the leaves and stem of beets and wash them under running water and allow them to dry. Cut the beets into cubes with a sharp knife. Take a large pot that you have, fill it half with water and make it boil now. Add a pinch of salt and add beets. Cover them and let them boil for 20 to 40 minutes. Now strain the beets and let them cool and rub off the skin with your finger. Be careful because this step is a little messy. Wipe up the beet juice strain of your hands. you are done. Your boil beets are ready to eat.

  • Steaming beets: How to cook beets

 Steaming beets are healthier than boiling beets because while boiling, it loses its minerals and nutrients with water. We can cook healthy steaming beets within 15 minutes. Fill the bottom of the steamer with 3 inches of water and make it boil. Now add beetroot and cover it, and steam for 15 minutes. When you can easily insert a fork or a tip of the knife in beets, it means it is cooked perfectly. 

  • Whole roasting

First of all, coat the beet skin with olive oil, salt and pepper and cover them in foil pouches. This method enhances the beetroot flavour and adds more flavour characteristics. Put these foil pouches in a roaster and cover them for 20 to 40 minutes at a high temperature of 204°C. After this open, the foil pouches, serve the beets with the dressing of lemon and enjoy a healthy diet with your friends and family.

  • Roasted beet and goat cheese salad

Keep the oven grills at the centre position and preheat the oven at 400°F.

 Cut the stem of beets and wash it under running water and dry it. Coat the beets with oil and sprinkle salt and pepper and wrap them in foil pouches. Please keep them on a tray and bake them for 40 to 60 minutes. The time depends on the size of the beets. After baking and unwrapping, let them cool and peel them in half-inch cubes. Add pomegranate juice, apple cider vinegar, shallots, mustard and maple syrup in a blender and blend them for 15 seconds. Add 1 tbsp of salt and pepper to taste now the sauce is ready. Put a crushed cheese layer on beet cubes and spread the sauce on it, and serve it with the dressing of pomegranate arils and chopped walnuts. Enjoy a healthy diet.
